and florida. if laura trevelyan is in miami. clyde is in cleveland. let's start with you. have aligned and as long there as they have been everywhere else in the country -- have the lines been as long there as they have been everywhere else in the country? >> they have been pretty long. at about 7:00 this morning, the actual stores open at 6:30 a.m., and there were already 20 people there. and it was a slow trickle. election officials are estimating about 70%, not as high in the previous election. but lorimar, millions have already voted in early voting -- but remember, millions have already voted in early voting in this state. we did see joe biden breeze in to try to shore up the final push for votes. president obama has had a bit of a lead during the last few months and it has tightened in the last few months -- few weeks. unemployment is lower. there are fewer foreclosures. there is a sense of optimism here and that has helped president obama, but it is tight. statistically, is still within the margin of error. we could be in for a long night. >> i hope not. thanks very much. laura

fighting for florida electoral votes it will be close. in 2008 president obama beat mccain. but it shows mitt romney is slightly ahead there. >> poll precinct workers are showing up first voters will line up. we are on the west side of the critical i-4 corridor. and the south florida miami-dade and brower tend to vote for democratic nominee and northern and panhandle a lock for the republican. and that's why the swing corridor is so critical. four years ago obama won boy 7 points and before that bush bet kerry by 7 points and there is a lot of enthusiasm and competition between mitt romney and president obama. early lines of and days of voters in broward and palm beach county and yesterday, another 45,000 early votes state wide and select counties allowed in person absentee ballot and technically and legally it was set to end 7:00 p.m. democrats filed suit and tried to extend the hours and governor scott never agreed to that and those were not extended. here are the early look. floridians. four and half million floridians have already voted in the presidential election . there is roughly

is counting? florida has been counting vots longer than any other state again. four days after the hotly contested swing state battle, cnn is projecting president barack obama as the winner. with some provisional ballots still to be counted, it's close. and capitol hill is still divided with a few races too close to call. republicans will hold the edge in the house. democrats have a nine-seat lead in the senate. now to the recovery from the devastating superstorm sandy. hundreds of thousands of people in new york and new jersey are still struggling with power outages nearly two weeks after the storm. but today, some relief for new jersey. governor chris christie says he expects most of the state's power to be back tonight. >>> meanwhile, fema is saying more than $403 million in aid has been approved for storm victims. >> if you can imagine what it must be like to be without power for two weeks, you can easily understand the anger and frustration storm victims are feeling. people in one community in queens are demanding to know why there's been such a hold-up. here is deborah feyerick. >>

think by this hour while they're still counting votes in florida and made for the next week -- there is an even greener light. we know.what the president was reelected and democrats picked up seats in the senate which is contrary to what anybody in washington i think thought even as late as today. the house is going to stay roughly the same. absent breaking news, i bring you know prescind returns from florida. i would like to spend more time on why this has happened and what it means for us going forward. i share the admiration all around 4 president obama's campaign team. they were technically close to perfect in the first responsibility of a campaign team, that is to identify and turn out voters. the planned it and executed it, and it every step of the way, they knew what votes they needed and went out and got them. they began before election day thinking favorable votes in states where they had put people on the ground to produce. take ileus appear -- technically a superb operation. perhaps some people will think by the fourth or fifth visit -- it did work. the point i wa

bobby, who worked with democrats to put together a state wide scholarship bill. in florida, they had the scholarship program, for kids to get scholarships to go to private schools, when that was passed 10 years ago, we had one member of the black caucus vote for it. when it came up for renewal, we have the majority of black and hispanic caucus vote for it. each of them said we are doing this because it is helping our children. as we move forward, that has got to beat the order of the day for our country. thank you all very much. i appreciate your generosity. i want to take some questions before we have to wrap up. thank you. their quarterback turned their season around against florida, when aaron murray picked himself up off the deck, a horrible game, got it together in the second half and they have been pretty much unstoppable ever since. but georgia has only played two ranked teams, one south carolina beat georgia. alabama, they are alabama. they find a way to answer. now, they did lose to texas a&m but found themselves back in the s.e.c. championship and facing georgia. battle of quarterbacks. i mentioned murray. the other quarterback to pay attention to is aj mccarron of alabama. he's a caretaker, not a spectacular player, but doesn't make a lot of mistakes and had a huge signature drive on the road against lsu to beat the tigers. so those two quarterbacks don't make a lot of mystics and whoever runs the ball more effectively. did i cover it? >> yeah, you covered that. let's talk about something i really know, pro football. eagles-panthers, philadelphia. >> how about that monday-nighter? >> i know. i just continue to worry about andy reid because he looks so pathetic. >> yeah, it's been a very rough year for t
